6. Make sure your staff understand how your alarm system works, how to isolate faulty points and the impact of an isolation.

7. Install an effective access control system on your premises and do not rely solely on keys as they can be duplicated.

8. Make sure your video surveillance system is operating in optimum conditions as it can be useful against liability claims providing a potential source of evidence.

9. If you are relocating, make sure your security system is maintained during your relocation.
